*In 2015 the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Court was awarded a DOJ CTAS (Department of Justice Coorodinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation) grant to develop codes for the Mashpee Wampanoag Nation. It is a three year grant for $290,078.00.
*In 2015 the Mashpee WampanoagTribal Court was also awarded a HHS TCIP (Health and Human Services Tribal Court Improvement Project) grant to improve court processes for child welfare cases. It is a three year grant for $300,000.00.
*In 2014 the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Court was awarded a two year ANA; SEDS (Administration for Native Americans) Grant to fully develop and implement a Peacemaking Court. This will allow more structure, information and training to be completed and ensure the success of this program. Peacemakers will be guiding our people back to balance using tribal cultural values and tradition to help our people communicate.
